Hi and welcome to my short analysis of Dungeon Leveling.
Leveling a new character from level 1-80 in WoW is really a mind-numbing pain and you will want to get it done as fast as possible.
Dungeon leveling is an alternative type of leveling that has been around for a short time.
As a passionate player I want to know what the advantages and disadvantages of Dungeon leveling are and if you can use it to level your character faster than with the normal questing.
First things first: What exactly is Dungeon Leveling? You visit Dungeons with a groups, complete all the quests there and kill mobs to get your exp.
Well, you will still do a little bit of questing to get all the follow-up quests for the Dungeon itself but that's it.
But this will change soon.
But the most of the time you will spend with a party in a Dungeon.
Can this be more efficient to level up than the regular solo questing? One advantage is, that you no longer need to travel around the world all the time.
If you remember leveling your first characters, you will remember that you spent a lot time of running around.
In a Dungeon that won't be necessary.
Secondly there's the experience you get from the monsters.
Although it takes more time to kill a mob in a Dungeon it's still a little bit more effective than killing off normal monsters on your own - but only if you play with a balanced party.
And that's probably the most important aspect when it comes to Dungeons.
Your party has to be experienced and well balanced.
Do not try Dungeon leveling with random players from different servers! First of all you would have no influence on the composition of your party members, random players often have a wide range of skill levels.
You will have much more fun raiding a Dungeon if you play with your guild mates who are friendly and skilled and know what they are doing.
