Many Ways to Kill House Centipedes

So you shouldn't have an excuse as to why these nasty little things are still in your home. They are really not there to bother you. Believe it or not, you have a bigger problem in your home if you have been noticing these little creatures!
House centipede is a type of centipede species in the family of Scrutigera Coleopatra is a yellowish-grey insect with 15 pairs of legs. They originated from the Mediterranean region though they have spread throughout the world. They commonly live in people's homes. Ensure damp hidden places like closets and basements are kept dry and warm. They will die from lack of moist surrounding. This will help lock them out and in the process kill house centipedes due to lack of food and cool environment.

You can use chemicals such as insecticides to kill house centipedes. One of the commonly used insecticides is Drione which is a powder form. But, this centipede, like all insects are resilient. They have a rigid body and move very fast. The harmful ones, which have bright colors, are found in tropical countries. Those in the United States are believed to be harmless. You should therefore keep your house as dry as possible to create unfavorable conditions for the survival of the centipedes. You should clean your basements, closets, all damp places and use dehumidifiers. This will either lead to their vacating or moving out. These are placed in the breeding areas of the centipedes to capture them. In addition to capturing the centipedes, insect traps will help you know which other types of insects are in your house and therefore help you in their controlling.

It is advisable that you always keep your house clean to eliminate this minute food sources for them. You can at least vacuum clean your house once per week to eliminate these particles. This will starve them and thereby drive them away if not starve them to death.

These are the main entry points of the centipedes. Ensure that the windows and doors are tight enough to keep them out. Chemicals are ineffective to some species.
But, they do have a purpose on this Earth. Like all homeowners, I just wish that purpose wasn't in my house! But you don't have to suffer in silence with these insects. As you can see, you have some very good options available to you. So you shouldn't have an excuse as to why these nasty little things are still in your home. What are these things? How many of them are there, and why are they in my house? These are but a sample of the questions that go through a homeowners mind when they see these creepy little bugs. Those things, those nasty, hairy, little, creepy looking things that can climb walls AND ceilings are known as house centipedes. That's right house centipedes. This will probably be your best bet. The exterminator will be able to get rid of your centipede problem, and then some! It might take more than one trip to do it, but if anyone can get it done, it's the exterminator!
