Writing for the Internet is not easy.
Many people think they can dust off those old essay writing skills from college and slap a web page together, but that's not all that it takes to be a good web writer.
You need to do so much more - including things like keyword research, mastering the use of white space, knowing how HTML code and your text integrate together, and being able to grab the attention of anyone that stops by your site in the first line of the page or article.
These things are not easy, but there are a few things you can do to make it at least seem easier.

Don't Think About SEO When You First Write - When you write the first draft of anything for the web, start by not thinking of what the SEO will be.
That will come with time.
Write for content first and then go back to add your keywords if the page does not meet density.

Full Niche Research - Don't just write something halfway because you don't know about the niche it's in.
If you don't know a niche, hire someone who does, or do go out and do the research on that niche until you understand exactly what you're supposed to be talking about.

Look for a Pro - One way to get a good set of content for your website or SEO campaign is to go and find a pro.
Look for someone who knows what they are doing and have them write your content for you.
You can watch and learn from their work for the first few articles or pages and then take over or if they are really good, just let them finish it all up - you'll make that money back in the end, almost guaranteed.
Writing for the Internet can be tough without the right tools but if you think from multiple angles and know that it's completely different than the analysis of Beowulf you did 20 years ago, you'll stand a chance of pulling it off.
