IVF Procedure and cycles

IVF or infact motherhood is not an easy job to bare with. One need to be well prepared, informed, knowledgeable about in and out of whole IVF circle. One  needs definitely some  patience, lot of effort, money, to get through back to back interventions or cycles. On an estimation; it is very well known that at least  50% of cost related to IVF could be  taken by medications and hormones itself. Women are subjected to  conventional kind of an  IVF because they ensure that to have more eggs to harvest when cycle is complete but on the other side  newer Natural Cycle IVF doesn't use drugs at all.  As far as the cycles of IVF are concerned  there are two kinds of cycles 1. Natural or non pharmacological and the other is 2. Drug induced or pharmaciological  .

Non pharmacological or Natural IVF Cycle

In some cases women keeps failing from conception as there may be aminor error and that needs a bit stimiulation , adaptation and modification of diet, sexual practices etc. The natural Cycle of IVF is otherwise called  as  NC-IVF . In a natural scenario a menstrual cycle could be 28-32 days and there is no need to accelerate it by hormones and drugs here . Majority of the women in their natural fate produces 2-3 eggs instead of single egg.But in case of artificial or induced cycles there will be one egg most of the time except if the parents wish twins. Because of this reason  the chances of most twins and triplets may not be achieved through fertility treatments.

Pharmacological/ induced cycles

It is  an artificial cycle where the expert induces cycles through accelerating the women`s reproductive system to produce eggs .The induction can be through either drugs or can be through hormones.Estrogen and progesterone, lutinizing hormone are moat significant in producing and releasing the eggs in case of women there by collecting those eggs for fertilization either out side or within the women. If the system of couple copes then it can be carried out within mother  .

The depth and number of cycles vary from women to women depending upon how they respond to the stimulation ; vast majority of women could hang on for 3 cycles and some can need more than six . How ever it is the choice and experience of the doctor could also add a contribution on cycle lengths.
