They are definitely proud of the fact that they happen upon celebrities from time to time, they are more proud to serve the military personnel and the regular everyday people that that love flocking to their town.
The Lakeside Restaurant and General Store has a few perks if you happen to be out on Table Rock Lake. Even if you aren't and want to experience something new, take a nice drive out and have dinner at the picnic tables on the docks at sunset. The Lakeside has covered boat parking and boatside service! The general store side will also have some of the items you need like bait and tackle for fishing. But the real goods are the ice cream and pizza that are served up by the very outgoing and friendly owners.
