- 1). Turn the machine off and unplug it.
- 2). Remove the water tank by lifting the handle and pulling it out of the machine.
- 3). Remove the cleaning solution tank by pulling it out of the side of the foot of the machine.
- 4). Unlock the belt access door by pressing a flat-head screwdriver into the slot to depress the release tab. This will allow you to access the pump belt, which is the smaller of the two belts. Set the door aside.
- 5). Turn the machine on its side so you can access the belt access area as well as the brush bar on the bottom of the machine.
- 6). Remove the red retainer plate by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
- 7). Remove the black brush arm.
- 8). Remove the broken brush belt and the broken pump belt. The brush belt is attached to the brush bar and the red pump pulley, and the pump belt is attached to the red pump pulley and the silver motor shaft.
- 9). Replace the brush belt by wrapping one end around the toothed end of the brush bar and the other end around the red pump pulley. Make sure that the notches line up and that the belt is not twisted.

Replace the pump belt by wrapping one end around the red pump pulley and the other around the silver motor shaft. - 11
Replace the black brush arm and the red retainer plate. Snap the belt access door back into place and put the cleaning solution and the water tank back onto the machine.
