Installing a ceiling mount can be a challenging process, and one that must be done correctly.
The last thing that you want to do is buy a brand new projector, and have it fall to the ground because it was not properly installed.
Here is a step by step blueprint that you can use to install a mount in your home theater, office, or store.
1.
Determine the exact location where you want to mount both the projector and the projector screen.
Knowing the exact location before you begin the installation process will make the process go much more fluidly.
2.
Drill any holes needed in the ceiling for power, video, and audio.
You may also need to drill some holes in the wall near the projector screen if you are installing some sort of entertainment system.
3.
Drill holes for the ceiling mount and the projector screen.
If you are just going to project onto the wall then the second part of this step is not necessary to install a ceiling mount.
When you drill holes for the mount you want to make sure that you drill an adequate amount of holes to secure your projector to the ceiling.
4.
Hide any cables.
You can often times stuff the cables into the ceiling, but if you have any long cables then you need to clear a path to any AV equipment.
Now you have the necessary steps needed to install a ceiling mount.
All you have to do is get the right tools, buy a quality ceiling mount, and you are ready to go!
