The place of Thanjavur is located close to Chennai which is the capital city of the state of Tamilnadu in the south of the Republic of India. This place is very fertile and paddy is cultivated over here. Apart from being fertile, this place is famous for its temple structures. These temples were mostly constructed some hundreds of years ago by the Chola dynasty. Tanjavur is also famous for its cultural heritage. The winter season over here falls between December and February and this is the best time to visit Tanjavur. In this pleasant winter the tourists find it very amazing to explore the place of Tanjavur. Moreover the architectural beauty can be best described on a sunny wintry day. However irrespective of the season, it is advised to the tourists to visit this place of Tanjavur wearing comfortable clothes and footwear.
