The Basics of Dog Behaviour Training

Dogs are a man's best friend and they are trustworthy and lovely as pets.
The moment you bring your pet home, you get this intricate bonding that you just cannot entrust the job of training your precious pet to someone else.
The most important part of dog training is behavior training that helps your pet to differentiate what is right and wrong.
You should never delay behavior training as it may become too late for you to do so and you may need to resort to the services of a professional dog trainer.
The first thing that you should train your dog to do is not to bite.
This training should be done when your dog is a puppy.
For the first few months if the puppy puts his mouth to your hand he should be discouraged.
If he bites your hand for attention you should yelp and walk away so that he understands that he will get no attention if he bites.
Dogs love to bark but when it comes to excessive barking the dog should be bought inside the home so that he understands that excessive barking is something you do not approve of.
You can tell him to keep quiet and after he stops barking you should praise him so that he understands it.
Dogs also have the fear to use the stairs and when you are training him ensure that you keep him on a leash and assist him in going up and down the stairs.
With puppies you should place them on the first step and encourage him to jump off the stairs.
Treat your dog afterwards so that he feels good to have made you happy too!
