In some countries, people strive hard to earn money to be saved for their future. They will use this for their children's education, emergency cases and to prepare for their retirement. Most of them dream to travel the world or build a house for their family. But not all individuals are the same. Others have different priorities and some follow the culture of their nation. If in other countries the families are the one who take tend to their elders, this is not the same in some western nations. Instead, an aged person will be placed in a facility and be tended by nurses and caregivers. Their families are either busy with work or do not want to have an obligation with them. That is why Aged Care Funding Instrument or ACFI is created to ensure that the elders receive quality care.

Nursing homes will get old and renovations will be needed. There will be more need for money and staffs and also nurses will not be enough to run the business. With ACFI, the rundown homes will have the answer to their problems. This is particularly created to maintain the standard of senior care and of the homes where they are staying. It is true that not all people can afford private nurses or even just a caregiver to tend to them. That is why nursing facilities have become popular and it mushroomed almost everywhere. Their aim is to nurture the aged through their programs and their equipments that will aid them in dealing with their residents. They also have medical practitioners such doctors and nurses who will assist them in providing the best care the elders deserve to have. These facilities are important in the community because this is where the grandparents will live when they reach their retiring age.

If aged care assistance does not exist, there will be less elderly facilities in the country. The retired people will have fewer places to choose from and they will be forced to stay somewhere where their needs are not provided. But now that ACFI exists, there is a standard which every nursing home should abide to in order for their residents to receive the service that they deserve.
