So the last article looked at the reasons "Where it all began" and the unique way our ancestors treated dating and how we would connect with singles. How they found that special person and managed to date and find love and friendships. We covered a small section on the Greeks. How they found special words for dating & spiritual love and eventually to being together. How our ancestors decided that capturing a love was by far the better method than winning someone's heart!

Looking at how we found love through the ages really has to include the following periods:  

The Viking Age – Transient lovers (Scandinavia and Europe) who took to the high seas in boats and basically raped and pillaged until their hearts were content.  They were not looking at marriage and families they just wanted to connect with singles and take what they desired!

Renaissance Age – They were very happy to draw and paint Love! Nakedness was key as was the Latin lover.  Love was found, Poetry was written and people got painted!  It was now that Love was beginning to get Flowery.

The Elizabethanperiod - This was the start of Women becoming beautiful, bold and exciting.  Love and friendship existed between families looking to build on commercial arrangements. They were seeking love for Power and ultimately money!

The last three ages's that we have looked at still treated love and friendships as commercial arrangements and for taking what they wanted.  Dating, love and romance didn't exist in these ages.  They used these arrangements for social standing or business.

Looking at love across various cycles has given us a great insight into what drives people to look for love, a relationship and friendships.  Marriages were used for families to create Heir's to their lands, to their fortunes and to build their dynasty's.  Ruling families would use a marriage to build their Empires & also to Ruin them!

So to continue our theme and deliver dating experiences we will continue to look at how our ancestors built the World.  How different periods of time offered singles love & friendships.  How love eventually overtook the need for business arrangements and how our immediate families managed to connect with singles to find love, friendships and unltimately a relationship.
