- Each level of "Super Granny 4" has collectible souvenirs. If you go out of your way and collect all of the souvenirs, you will receive special bonuses. Your primary objective is the rescue mission, and sticking to it will give you extra souvenirs. Once all the cats on a level are safe, new ladders will appear that will allow you to reach previously inaccessible souvenirs.
- Walk up to cat and it will start to follow you. You have to lead the cat to the blue exit (marked with a "meow" sign) to "rescue" it and get points. The best way to get a lot of points at once is to get multiple cats to follow you before you go to an exit. When all the cats on a level have been rescued, a flower pot will appear. Walk up to the flower pot to warp to the next level.
- Some of Granny's enemies are magicians, men in black, and ill-tempered dogs. Granny has no weapon, but she does have a shovel. When am enemy approaches, press the space bar to dig a hole with the shovel. The enemy will fall into the hole, and Granny will be able to walk over their heads. Granny can fall from a great height without injury. If you see a cat or souvenir below you with no other way to reach it, dig a hole and fall through it yourself.
- Random items are usually part of the solution to finish a level. The watering can, for example, will turn plants into long vines Granny can climb when she has no ladders. Walk over items to pick them up. Items must be used within a certain time. Numbers will appear when Granny picks up an item. Those numbers will show you how long you have before the item expires. Expired items will return to the spot on the map where you picked them up.
