We're used to geeks programming computers for us. We may even make an attempt ourselves by recording a macro in Excel or Word. But when it comes to help to reprogram your mind then keyboards are useless (at least until all those science fiction movies come true) and we have to resort to other methods.
Contrary to what you may think initially, our minds are actually quite malleable. Our views change over time - otherwise there would still be a host of monsters living under your bed and in your closet - but the good news is that we can use this built in willingness to change that even the most stubborn people have to reprogram our minds for the better.
Use affirmations to reprogram your mind
One way we can do this is with affirmations. Repeated over and over again at regular intervals, the affirmations we've chosen will first seep into our subconscious mind and will then cross the barrier into our conscious mind. If you're not convinced about this, pick a small and non-controversial affirmation and repeat it to your self several times a day over the course of the next week and see how your views get changed quite easily.
Use hypnosis for change
Hypnosis works at a deeper level than simply using affirmations.
The hypnosis download will relax you and make your mind more receptive to the suggestions that it is about to place. You can't be forced by hypnosis to do anything against your will, so don't worry on that count. Just go with the flow and let your mind be open to the idea that simply listening to a hypnosis MP3 can begin to make positive changes in your life.
Use sleep programming
This is a great way to make use of the approximately one third of your life that you're asleep.
The logic behind sleep programming as a way to reprogram your mind for the better is that your mind is receptive whilst you're sleeping. The state of your mind whilst you're asleep is much the same as it deep meditation will reach. Which means that it is wide open and receptive to ideas.
Of course, other things happen whilst we sleep. It's the time when our bodies carry out essential repairs. And it's also the time when our brain processes the events of the day, which often manifests in your dreams.
But there's still plenty of time to do other things whilst you sleep.
There are a number of different programs available which are designed to be played in the background on loop whilst you sleep. You'll need to play around with the volume and you may also need an understanding partner if you want to carry out this process whilst there is someone else in your bedroom. You'll need to make up your own mind on that front!
The technology involved for sleep learning is simple: a number of positive suggestions are repeated over and over again, usually with a relaxing soundtrack and sometimes with binaural beats to make sure your mind is in the most receptive place. It's a simple way to reprogram your mind without having to make extra space in your life.
