How do we rid ourselves of panic and fear?

Have you ever meet someone who didn't want to cure themselves of certain panic or phobias that they had? For instance flying or talking before a group of people. Of course not. People inherently want to be free of constraints and worry within their life.

Then the next question would be: why do millions of people live with fear everyday and have ceased to explain or stop it? Instead they have learned to cope or worst yet, avoid the situation that causes the fear.

Some professionals even believe, and I would agree, that alcoholics and other bad habits are simply expressions of phobias in a lot of cases. Think about that for a second. An alcoholic drinks to avoid confrontations with reality that he is fearful to deal with. Makes sense doesn't it?

But why would we purposely make our lives so miserable by running from our fears? In a lot of cases, people have avoided certain fear their entire life in order not to deal with it. How about the singer who couldn't face the fear of the audience or the dancer who couldn't perform on stage? We probably all know someone who gave up something in their life or even accepted something in their life because of the necessity to overcome the fear associated with facing the matter.

I think we can agree that everyone wants to be fearless and panic free in their life. The problem is that most people don't know where to start or simply believe that it's impossible. If you don't know where to start, I will help you. If you don't believe it's possible, I'm here to tell you it is possible.

At some point if we don't face the fear, the fear will control us. Avoidance will set in and we will descend in a downward spiral to a place that will be forever known as our rock bottom. You might have been there like I was. You might even be there now. If so, only you can bring yourself out. I want to show you how I brought myself out.

Fear left unchecked will eventually lead to greater fear, which eventually leads to panic or panic attacks. I know because that's the way I started experiencing panic attacks. And panic, believe it or not, is a normal reaction of your body when presented with overwhelming fear from your subconscious.

The "trick", if you will, is simply correcting that little area of your brain that decides what is something to panic over and what is not. Face it, fear is necessary to survive, but unnecessary fear is contrary to enjoying life. I conquered that fear of panic and got my life back. If I didn't believe you could do the same, I wouldn't waste my time writing this. I would love to hear your success also, so let me hear from you. You can use the comment link of my site. Best wishes!
