Weddings can be expensive.
I should know because I have been the designer in several of them.
Thorough the years, I have collected several money saving ideas which I will share with you now.
Wedding Pew Bows Depending on the quality, Wedding pew bows can cost anywhere from $5 to $30 each.
If the event is going to be held at a large church, you could end up spending hundreds of dollars.
This can easily be averted by making your own bows.
Do not worry, it's easy, and it does not take much to learn.
There are many guides available in both written and video format.
Just Google it, and you will find all the help that you need.
Wedding Veil Wedding veils typically cost $100+.
This is completely unnecessary, and wasteful.
This can easily be created by using a cute white headband, and some Tulle.
You probably already have the headband.
The tulle can be purchased for a couple of dollars at your nearest fabric store.
Spend a few minutes putting the two together, and you have saved yourself a minimum of $100.
I would recommend reading a guide and how to make the veil look professional.
Once again, you can just Google it, and you will easily find a detailed guide.
Altar Decorations People are often surprised by the price of the decorations around the altar.
The costs can drop dramatically without sacrificing any quality by making a few simple changes to the typical plan.
A lot of my brides have wanted everything from overhanging plants to swans.
Almost anything can work if placed and visually supported correctly.
However, if you want elegance without the "elegant" prices, try decorating with candles and Christmas lights.
These often leave the greatest impressions than an expensively decorated altar.
