Yosemite National Park California is one of the most popular parks in the United States, and is so expansive that finding all the things to do and see could take several vacations and visits to the park.
Most people assume that they can see everything in one day, but in reality, this park is so big that you should allow at least a few days to explore the park at your leisure.
There is so much to see and do that you can easily spend a week at the park and not see everything.
However, you can easily plan a trip ahead of time so that you can guarantee that you'll see what you want and nothing less.
Yosemite National Park offers various accommodations for its visitors in many different ways.
The park itself contains plenty of campgrounds, RV parks, cabins for miles, and even a hotel of their own to host visitors on-site that saves you some travel time getting to the park to start off your day.
It doesn't matter if you want to rough it, or if you want comfortable accommodations, the park has something to offer everyone.
Some famous landmarks that you'll find include inside the park Bridal Veil Falls, El Capitan, and Half-dome.
The Bridal Veil Falls are one of the most famous waterfalls in the park.
El Capitan stands over 3,000 feet and is a well known natural rock formation, as is Half-dome, whose shape easily reminds visitors of its name upon seeing it.
Yosemite National Park California is probably best known for the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
These are the trees that are so large cars can drive through some of them, many standing well over 200 feet tall and wider than some buildings.
The park strives to keep these beautiful giants protected, so admiring them is best done by staying on the clearly marked trails and not going over the barriers set up by the park service.
However, you are able to take pictures and stand close to the trees, but only with proper supervision and not in any restricted areas for obvious reasons.
To get into Yosemite National Park, it will cost you $20 per car or $10 per individual who walks, bikes, or rides a horse into the park.
This is a small price to pay to see some of the best natural beauty that can be found in California or anywhere in the country for that matter.
There is so much to choose from when you come to this park that you're surely not going to be disappointed, unless of course, you don't allow yourself the adequate time to experience everything there is to see.
