Ohio Certificate Programs in Medical Transcription

    • The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services estimates that the demand for medical transcriptionists will grow by more than 12 percent between the years of 2006 through 2016. To enter the field, post-secondary education is necessary to learn the required terminology and how to operate medical transcription software systems. The shortest medical transcription programs typically result in certificates, and a number of public and private schools in Ohio offer such courses of study.
