- 1). Seal the frozen roaster chicken in an airtight bag. If it is already in an airtight waterproof package from the store, leave it in its package.
- 2). Fill a bowl with cold water and set it in the kitchen sink. The bowl should be larger than the roaster chicken.
- 3). Submerge the roaster chicken in the cold water.
- 4). Change the water every 30 minutes to keep the water cold. The chicken will take three or more hours to thaw.
