How to Remove Mold in a Concrete Basement

    • 1). Fill a spray bottle with either bleach or white vinegar. The bleach contains chemical ingredients that kill the mold, while the vinegar contains acid that kills the mold.

    • 2). Open windows if using bleach when possible, as the bleach itself has a strong smell.

    • 3). Spray the vinegar or bleach over the mold, covering it with a thick coating of the spray.

    • 4). Let sit for about two hours. Examine to see if any mold remains, and if it does, spray with another coating of the vinegar or bleach.

    • 5). Repeat until all mold is gone.
