Amazing Ways to Increase Sales

Is there any business that doesn't want to jack up sales over and beyond what they're already doing? What if you could add to what you're already getting just by reading about 700 words here? One ideal way to increase sales is with your current customers - those that have bought from you in the past.
Present customers are the source of most sales for you and everyone else.
Your current customers already know you, trust you and have gotten over the obstacle of buying from you - so to buy from you again is not a big hurdle for you to help them over.
What are some ways you can sell more to your current business customers? 1.
Incentives.
Give your sales team good reasons to sell as much as they can.
Give them whacky goals, or a series of goals to see how high they can go.
Make selling fun in your business culture, and not a chore.
Give each salesperson the empowerment to give 1 product at half price that day just to make the sale.
See what happens.
Reward your sales team with cash, checks, food, and whatever you can think of.
Incentivize your customers by providing discounts based on the level of purchases they've already made in the past.
You want them to keep buying, right? Give them a reason to.
Subway's buy 11 subs get 12th free was cool and led to way more sub sales.
Incentivize your current customers to bring another customer - and get something for it.
2.
Up-sell!
This is a very effective, and not often used technique for increasing the dollar amount of the sale someone is already making online or on the phone.
The immediacy of the new deal is what makes it attractive to buyers and they go ahead and buy the extra thing too.
While a buyer is purchasing, or just after they purchase, you run an offer by them that is too good to pass up.
They already trust you enough to buy from you and you "up-sell" them to something better or something additional.
This technique works very well and should be implemented ASAP.
3.
Down-sell!
If this sounds like an outrageous way to do business, read on.
The down-sell occurs when someone has already been sold on buying a particular product, but that product might be too much for them - it might have more than they need.
It might be overkill, and they think it's the only option available.
Just before they checkout, you can offer them another option - that might take care of their limited needs without all the extra fluff they thought they needed to pay for.
If they go for it - you might then offer an up-sell of something they cannot live without at a great price - up to or over what the price of the original item was you convinced them not to buy.
Down-sells work very well because the customer instantly trusts you because you saved her money.
The thinking with this is that as a long-term customer the person is worth much more than that one sale.
4.
Current customers treated like Royalty.
Current customers are the bread and butter of your organization.
Recurring customers should be treated like members of royalty, and I'm not joking.
Keep them coming back and repeating what they do - buying - for as long as possible.
Why? Customers will then become cheerleaders for your company and get you more customers like them.
Give current customers special information about savings and specials - before the rest of the public get it.
Make them feel special - all the time.
5.
Customer rewards.
Free birthday lunches are remembered.
Give points for purchases even as big as trips, or items of value like giving away Apple iPads, iPods, iPhones, anything you think your best customers might really enjoy.
There are many ways you can offer customer rewards - implement some! 6.
Free samples.
Your current customers are the ones most likely to buy from you again.
Give them something free in advance - through email or directly in person to make them feel appreciated and start the ball rolling.
You might offer your long-term customers something free that new customers have to pay for.
You'll need to find new customers of course, but the diamonds are just under your nose in the form of those that have bought from you in the past.
Sales happen easier to previous customers.
Do everything you can to make sure you're serving them the right way - and making them feel special.
Your business will grow strong very quickly.
Customer loyalty is an amazing thing...
