In New England, with the proper gear and wheels, you can enjoy off-roading every season. In Connecticut, for instance, Central Cycle Club and Pachaug State Park are two such places where you can ride ATVs year-round. Just keep in mind that to drive an off-road vehicle on public land in the state, you have to carry your vehicle registration and driver's license with you. On private property, you also need to have the landowner's written authorization. - The Central Cycle Club has a private motocross track in Central Village that's open only to members year-round. The track is groomed and watered and all engine sizes are allowed. To apply for membership, you must first earn points as a volunteer in addition to working two races.
