Start a new hobby

You can also get your mind off your sadness by starting a new hobby.It can be good to distract yourself with art or music.Try to learn how to play a new instrument or join a painting workshop.You can also get hold of any art materials around and express yourself.Learning a new sport is also one way of dealing with sadness.
