The tall claims of today's governments and the job market

The job market in the entire world is very tough & competitive. It has become harder and harder day by day to look and get selected for good jobs. This article sheds light on some of the myths that governments of majority of the nation's hide form their citizens giving them false assurance of the "healthy" economy. Even though many governments have been making sky rocketing claims of rising employments and other income generating methods, at grassroots level, there is hardly any partial sign of implementation.

Having one of the best qualifications from top leading colleges/schools and universities even has no luck in job seeking, or perhaps landing in for an interview only. With such a high class degree in hands, many applicants are wondering, especially from the developing nations like Pakistan, India, Philippines etc. and other Asian nations that why there are not getting hired for their respective fields of interest?

Gone were the good old days for those candidates having excellent degrees from the leading colleges/universities were only getting recruited. In the present times, that does not happen. Companies are looking to drastically cut their costs to save on the advertising budget and off course the human resources where labour make a big chunk of expenses for the company. Companies are now hiring based upon good & solid references, talents, and skills all combined. If you have all that mentioned and the added energy to believe in yourself, sooner or later you would end up getting a good job.

The added difficulty in job hunting is that people have moved from rural to urban areas, thereby emptying the rural areas and flooding the urban ones. The main purpose behind this is to search for promising jobs and getting help in the job search process. Although in developing nations it rarely happens to get a god job in rural areas, but this is not usually the case with the highly developed nations like UK, USA and other parts or the Western world. Always make sure that you keep trying as an applicant every place and at every job opening.

There are many more myths that exist in job listings & selection process. Candidates think the position vacant might be the one they are looking for. In real terms it is just not the case, because many a times companies would advertise on job listings and get candidates already selected before time via referencing. When the entire job search process gets complete; you would eventually hear a "sorry, we are all full, try again for another vacancy at later time" note.

Try to build strong references and get them ready well before you find a job in the market. As soon as you find one, apply for that job using that reference. The chances of you getting selected for that job would be much higher if you would have applied on your own.
