- Normal credit cards will have an expiration date. If your prepaid card has the four digits that represent the month and year that the card expires (for example xx/xx), you may use this card for online purchases.
- A typical credit card will contain a three-digit card security code on the back of the card. For American Express cards, it will be a four-digit code located on the front. If your prepaid credit card has this code, you may use it online.
