- 1). Insert your iPod into the iPod dock.
- 2). Connect the large end of the iPod Composite AV Cable to the port on the Apple Universal Dock.
- 3). Connect the yellow plug of the AV cable to the yellow AV port on your TV, connect the red plug to the red port and connect the white plug to the white port. If you have more than one set of AV ports on your TV, note to which set of ports you have connected your iPod.
- 4). Turn on your TV, then press the "Input" or "Source" button on the remote control to select the port to which you connected the cable.
- 5). Scroll to the "Videos" option on the main iPod menu, then press the "Select" button.
- 6). Scroll to the "Settings" option on the menu, then press the "Select" button.
- 7). Scroll to "TV Out" and select the "Ask" option.
- 8). Set the "TV Setting" option to correspond with the format used in your current geographic region. "NTSC" should be used if you are in North America or Japan, while "PAL" should be used anywhere else.
- 9). Press "Menu" to return to the main "Videos" menu.

Scroll to the video you want to watch on your TV, then press the "Select" button. - 11
Press the "Select" button to choose "TV" as your desired display.
