Logon to your hotmail account. (If you go to msn.com, you will see a link to hotmail in the upper left hand corner of the screen). - 2). On the left hand side of the screen, there will be an option called "Manage Folders." Click on Manage Folders.

Towards the top of the screen, click on the word "New." - 4
Enter in a new folder name. (Be sure to enter one that does not already exist, such as "Inbox"). - 5). Click on the "Save" button towards the top of the screen, and you are finished! Your new folder will be viewable on the left hand side of the screen, below the default folders such as Inbox, Junk, Deleted, etc.
