- 1). Start your presentation by pressing "F5" on your keyboard or clicking the "From Beginning" button on the Slide Show tab.
- 2). Advance to the next slide in your presentation by pressing one of the following keys on your keyboard: "Spacebar", "Enter", "Down Arrow", "Right Arrow" or "N" for next slide. You can also click anywhere in the slide to advance to the next.
- 3). Return to the previous slide by pressing one of the following keys on your keyboard: "Backspace", "Left Arrow", "Up Arrow" or "P" for previous. You can also click the back arrow in the lower-left on the corner of the slide.
- 4). Go to a specific slide number by right-clicking in the slide and entering the slide number in the "Go To Slide" field. You can also click on the third button in the lower-left corner of the slide and entering the desired slide number in the "Go To Slide" field. Another, less obvious method of going to a specific slide is to press the number that corresponds with the desired slide and then pressing "Enter", for example, press "5" and then "Enter" to go to slide number 5.
- 5). End the presentation at anytime by pressing the "Esc" key on the keyboard. When you advance past the last slide, PowerPoint displays "End of slide show. Click to exit." You can either click with your mouse, or use one of the steps discussed above in Step 2.
