"Words don"t matter much to us. Miles do. This is the way of the Brotherhood" says the India Bike Week website and we couldn"t agree more. Get set to join the largest congregation of bikers from across the country in a one-of-its-kind Bike Festival "India Bike Week 2013."
The event is set to unfold on the 2nd and 3rd of February where an estimated 8,000 plus biking enthusiasts including some of India"s biggest biking celebrities are expected to make a beeline to Vagator, Goa. The event promises to be two-days of full-on action where bikers get to indulge in a heady mix of high-octane biking, music, beverages and much more.
Event Highlights
Bikers can look forward to watch over a 100 bikes in action, check out the Biker Build Off, burn some rubber on the race tracks, check out the stunt zones and literally ride into history at the Vintage Bike Concourse.
Not letting the excitement bar drop even a bit, you can watch some of India"s best martial arts fighters duel it out and knock off their rivals.
And raising the thrill factor a notch further, there is something to cheer for music lovers as well. There are 3 concert stages, 26 live bands as well as professional DJs to keep the audience engaged in some high-decibel live performances.
Finally, the Cigar and Whiskey Club and the Howling Dog Bar will help keep your spirits high like never before.
There are loads of other fun stuff to engage in including some great outlets for foodies, a tattoo zone, an HD expo and an EDM tent amongst a host of other options.

How to Get There?
If you want to ride your bike to the event, the event website provides all the information on the routes and meeting points across major metros from where you can join other riders as they make their way to Goa. Provisions also can be made to have your bike moved to the event.
Vagator which is situated in North Goa is well connected by air, rail and road. Being a tourist hotspot, Vagator also boasts of some of the best hotels in Goa.
The nearest airport is Dabolim which is around 50 km from Vagator. The nearest rail head is Karmali which is at a distance of 45 km from Vagator.
Vagator is also well connected by road and is at a distance of 22 km from Panaji.

Goa hotels are considered to be one of the best when it comes to comfort and hospitality. You can choose from the multitude of stay and accommodation options and pick the one that best suits your need and budget.
