How to Use Gmail for Mass Email Communication

    Create a Contact Group

    • 1). Log in to your Gmail account.

    • 2). Click on "Contacts" in the navigation menu on the left side of the page.

    • 3). Click on "New Group" in the navigation menu on the left side of the page.

    • 4). Enter a name for the group in the "New Group" pop-up box.

    • 5). Add a check mark to the box beside each contact's name that you want added to the group.

    • 6). Click on the "Groups" button at the bottom of your Contacts list. This will open a drop-down menu.

    • 7). Click on the name of the group you just created in the drop-down menu. This will add the contacts you selected to your group.

    Send an Email to a Contact Group

    • 1). Log-in to your Gmail account.

    • 2). Click on the "Compose mail" button in the navigation menu on the left side of the page.

    • 3). Type the name of your contact group in the "To:" field.

    • 4). Type the content of your email in the main text box.

    • 5). Click on the "Send" button in the lower left corner of the page.
