- 1). Launch the Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 program on your Mac and open the HTML document in which you want to add a drop-down menu.
- 2). Click the "Design View" tab at the top of the window.
- 3). Place your text cursor in the section of the layout where you want to add the drop-down menu.
- 4). Open the "Insert" menu at the top of the screen, expand the "Form" submenu and choose the "List/Menu" option.
- 5). Enter a name for the drop-down menu in the Label field and then click "OK."
- 6). Highlight the rectangle around the drop-down menu that you just created.
- 7). Click the "Menu" radio button in the Properties window.
- 8). Enter the same name you chose in Step 5 in the text field underneath the List/Menu heading.
- 9). Click on the "List Values" button.

Double-click on each row in the Item Label and Value columns and enter the items that you want to include in the drop-down menu. The text in the Value column will be what appears in the drop-down menu, while the Item Label text will only be used in the HTML code. You can click the plus button to add as many entries as you wish. - 11
Click "OK" when you are done to update the drop-down menu with the items you have entered.
