Beat The Competition When Its The Toughest

In the face of tough competition, you can still come out ahead in terms of profits. Heres how you do it: be slightly better with your use of keywords, slightly better in visitor value, slightly better in your follow-up with customers and youll be beating the competition!

1.Design a killer ad copy

A well written ad copy will improve your position as your CTR improves, but in this case, your bid price does not change. This is a form of reward for good and relevant ads. You can make your way up the positioning despite tough competitors paying more for their better position for their ads.

2.Source for the best keywords

It is best to bid on the three different matching options exact matched (in brackets), phrase matched (in quotes) and broad matched (without either). Bid on at least 200 words, this will help you get clicks at a cheap price. Your low price keywords may generate more profit than your expensive keywords.

3.Bid for the optimal price

The top positions may not be the best. Your visitors value is more important. For example, if a lead generates $2 profit on average, then you would not want to bid any keywords at $3.

4.Share customers and create partnerships

There is no such things as owning one customer. Anyone can buy from everyone else. So it makes more sense to share your list. Approach successful marketers or top bidders and invite them to be an affiliate of your site, pay them commission according. See your competitors as partners.

5.Get the customers that others dont want

Buy exit pop ups from your competitors. Otherwise you can bid for similar keywords as your competitors but offer something different from them.

6.Market offline as well

You can also advertise in offline media and bring customers online from there, through magazines and print ads. These customers would be of higher quality as they are interested parties.

Now that you have received tips on how to boost your internet marketing business, I have an interesting story to share.

A miser bought a piece of gold with all his hard earned money, which he buried in the ground beside an old well. He visits the site daily.

One of his friends noticed he visited the site often and decided to spy on his actions. He soon found out the location of the gold and stole it.

The miser, upon the next visit, wailed in sadness when he found the hole empty and his gold gone.

A neighbor, seeing him full of sadness and grief, and learning the reason why, said Go and put a stone in the hole and pretend the gold is still there. This will make you feel the same as before; when the gold was in the hole, you did not make use of it.
