There are so many ways to advertise and market your business, and this article discusses all offline methods that you can use to really get your business out there.
Wedding Fayre
There are many wedding fayre there - not necessarily go for the cheapest, go for the ones that attract the market you are aiming for.
When you get inquiries wedding fayre, try any interested persons e-mail address so you can send them additional literature or e-mail follow-up a little bit later. Any interested party to visit your booth can be enticed to give your name and email address in exchange for a free report that you send them an e-mail later. The bride and groom will be milling around the many stalls and you'll be just another one. If you do not have to follow up with e-mail, your data is likely lost among all the other literature they pick up, and you will be forgotten.
Contests and editorials
There are so many photography contests out there today. Try to enter as many competitions as you can. The more you win, the more prestige you will be looked upon as so will their sale of services. You can also try and get as much as possible the local editorial publications. It is not always easy, as individuals and businesses who want the editor as you do, as well as bombarding version.
If you think that an interesting article with a good twist and give a lot of photos, try to contact all the local magazines and newspapers to see if they will print it. If they have a bit of free space on a page and you have to do the hard work for them, in terms of writing and preparation of images, they can just declare it to you. It might be a good idea to contact your local charity and offer to photograph your event for free in order to be worthy of a newspaper article. Or, for example, suggest shooting a local radio station for free publicity air.
Showcases
A great way to promote the use of window space. It can be a hair salon or beauty salon, for example - somewhere where future brides often. You may have to pay for it, or some of the stores offering their window space if you are already a customer, as it changes its face in the window for a few weeks. Membership with other wedding suppliers
Contact other good wedding service providers (local wedding venues, automotive suppliers, florists, bridal dress shop) in their chosen field and exchange data so that they can recommend to you if you recommend them. As an added incentive, you can give them for free photos of your cars / flowers / dresses that you have photographed a wedding shoot. Bridal shops always need wedding photos, and if you know the bride bought a dress from there to provide some stunning photographs.
