- small sprig of fresh pennyroyal leaves (or scant teaspoon of dried leaves)
- sugar, to taste

Preparation
Heat the milk with the pennyroyal in a small pot. When the milk scalds (small bubbles will appearĀ around the edges of the pot and a skin will form on top), turn off the heat and leave the pennyroyal to steep for a few minutes. Strain the milk into a cup or mug and add sugar to taste. Enjoy while warm.
