How I started to make money online is not something I can explain easily.
What I mean is I did not follow exact steps and did not see exact or immediate income or profits.
This isn't because I had the wrong program, but more because I was not satisfied with the way my sales were happening.
So, I searched for the ultimate program if you will.
Let me offer some ideas on what to look for if you are searching for an online business that can be applied to any business opportunity.
First some simple concepts you MUST understand: 1.
Traffic: no traffic = no prospects=no sales.
2.
System: a poor system that converts prospects to sales is not good.
3.
FOCUS: most online programs, even the best out there, take time for your prospects to build and the sale to close.
Don't give up before the momentum begins.
If you are brand new to online sales, and you don't have any traffic generating system in place, your initial traffic could come slowly.
How slow depends on how much effort you put into generating your traffic.
My first program was from a guy that I mentored with.
I used a website with pay per click to sell a front end e-book that led to back end higher ticket items.
My first month I broke even.
The cool thing was the sales came without my doing anything! Yes, I was emailed that I just earned $19.
95, or $195, or $692! Very cool.
I did not like that program because even though I saw the income potential, I knew most people would not build a website and do the "work".
I could not honestly tell them they would for sure make money online.
People are looking for simple, but effective programs to work into their busy lives.
So the search was on for the ultimate program.
My next make money online program was my first introduction to email marketing and "automated internet marketing systems".
This is where once someone "opts in" to my offer, requesting more information, the SYSTEM of movie presentations and followup emails slowly educates the prospect and in time a certain percentage WILL buy.
This can happen with very little effort on my part.
In this program 45% of the opt ins bought without any contact with me.
I made about $7000 in my 2nd month with this program.
SUPER cool.
Like walking on air.
Making MONEY online like this is almost like stealing.
However that program soon fizzled out- too many people promoting it, and sadly too much bad PR from all the people that never made a penny.
Remember: with no traffic, even the best system will not produce sales.
The final search was on.
After scouring the internet for some six months, I found the perfect program.
Define perfect: 1.
A real product with real value.
Not downloadable stuff or gifting programs.
2.
A 20+ year old company whose product will be always in demand, so it can't fizzle out! 3.
SYSTEM: we love systems.
The system just requires us to feed it with quality prospects.
The presentation, followup, and sales closing is all automated.
We just receive our commission checks in the mail.
Keep one thing in mind.
When programs are developed, they are tested to make sure they convert a certain percentage of prospects to sales.
If they don't work, the creators won't make money.
That said, if you are in a program and not making money, it's either poor traffic, or poor system.
That's how I started to make money online.
