Reasons and solution of Data Loss and Data Recovery

We all are aware of Windows. This is an Operating System (OS) that is preferred and used by almost all user groups whether they are professionals or home users. The simple user interface, various useful inbuilt applications increase its popularity. However, it has various useful features and usability, but unlike any other OS, data saved on it is not 100% safe. Many times Windows OS users come across devastating situations of data loss, therefore it is always recommended to maintain data backup and observe some necessary precautions.

Although it is not always the mistake of OS or its applications that causes data loss, but many times it is mishandling the PC that leads to data loss. Let us discuss some common reasons due to which, a Windows user encounters data loss:

Accidental Deletion: Although MS Windows give users a chance to undelete their data by providing 'Recycle Bin', but many times hard deletion (using shift and delete keys together) and emptying the 'Recycle Bin' cause complete data loss. This is one of the most frequent causes due to which many users face data loss.

Unplanned Hard Drive Formatting: Formatting the hard drive without taking any backup comes under unplanned formatting of the hard drive. This will leads to data loss. Except this many times unexpected situations like logical errors (applications as well as operating system) need immediate formatting of the hard drive. In such situations, if you do not have previously stored updated backup, then you have to face data loss.

Logical Corruption: At times due to abrupt system shutdown, virus infection, malicious software download or other reasons, the file system of your hard drive or its other logical components get corrupt. These kinds of issues come under logical corruption as they render an error message when you try to start your PC or extract any data. However, in case of logical corruption, your data doesn't get lost, but it becomes completely inaccessible.

Virus Infection: Despite the user friendly interface and advance and useful features Windows operating systems do not provide any full proof plan against virus infection. Hence, if your PC is not protected with any third-party anti-virus software, then you seldom encounter sudden loss of some folders or files.

Some of the precautionary measures or workarounds to overcome data loss are:

Work Carefully: You must have observed that most of the times it is we who provoke Windows system to create situations of data loss. Therefore, if we work properly with them like shut system carefully, ensure that what we are deleting requires deletion or not, and protect our system with an efficient anti-virus software, then we can prevent data loss to great extend.

Maintain Backup: In any case, if we have updated backup of our system, then we can easily overcome the disastrous situation of data loss. Therefore, it is a must to take regular backup of your precious data.

Data Recovery Tool: In situations when you encounter data loss and you do not have backup, use of efficient Windows data recovery software is suggested. Professional Windows data recovery tools recover all lost, deleted, formatted, or inaccessible data from your system.

In order to perform successful recovery by reliable Windows data recovery software, it is suggested to download data recovery tool on another system and attach the affected hard drive as external hard drive to that system.
