Am I the only one with dry, cracked skin on my heels? Evidently not, as there are many products on the market that reportedly provide a remedy for this problem. I’ve been plagued with this skin condition since I was a teen, and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve grown older. The dryness seems to worsen in the cold winter months, but I’m more prone to get infections in the cracks during the summer.
Several weeks ago, while I was catching up on housework, I saw one of these AS SEEN ON TV ads for HEEL-TASTIC. As the cold dry weather is just starting, I know my heels are going to give me fits very soon. So when I happened to glance up and saw the ad for HEEL-TASTIC balm, I was interested. With my money situation being tight, I can’t waste money on any type of snake oil product that may not work. They advertise a money back guarantee (less shipping) so I ordered.
It came and and I began using it right away. I liked that it rolled on, and I didn’t have to get any of the creme on my hands. I’m trying to use the HEEL-TASTIC three or four times a day. Once in the morning, at lunch, during my afternoon break and before bed time at night. It did take about a week before I noticed that it was working for me. HEEL-TASTIC doesn’t just set on top of the skin, but the balm really does soak in. They advertise that it’s anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, but, with my skin anyway, we’ll have to see about that claim in the summer. I will say this. My rough and calloused skin is starting to look normal again, and I’m not using the skin scraper hardly at all.
I’ve told my mother and sister about HEEL-TASTIC as we all share the same skin problems. The cost isn’t that bad either. If you buy one, you get one free with just an extra $6.99 shipping charge. They throw in a bonus manicure type grooming kit that I guess I’ll find a use for. I don’t know the science behind HEEL-TASTIC or what’s in it, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t help anyone with split, calloused heels like its helped me.
