Definition:

Accurize is a term used to describe any process or alteration that improves the accuracy of a firearm. The term may be used by the manufacturer for a redesign or variant of a particular gun model. Most often, though, it is used to describe modifications made to a particular gun by an individual.

Examples of accurizing include barrel fluting, glass bedding, replacing a stock or grip, re-crowning, and many other modifications.
