The second mistake people make is that they think they need to start with AdWords or similar services to drive traffic to their sites.
If you do not have deep pockets I would advise you stay away from this at least until you make enough money and you have availed yourself with how these ad campaigns work.
They are great, have no doubt but if you think you can jump in and just start you will be out of pocket very soon.
This leads me to the third mistake people make and that is that they assume that they have to pay a lot for traffic.
There are many good ways to drive traffic to your site at a very low cost if not for free.
Article marketing, blog and forum commenting and using free classified ads are the most popular.
And do not think they don't work.
Many people make a lot of money on monthly bases just of free or very cheap methods of marketing their business.
Don't make the same mistakes many other people have made in the past.
Go and do your research before you start and make sure you keep your costs as low as possible.
It makes good business sense.
