How to Remove Mildew From Upholstered Lawn Furniture

    • 1). Place the lawn furniture in a sunny location away from your home.

    • 2). Brush off the surface mildew with a cloth.

    • 3). Create a solution of equal parts ammonia and cool water.

    • 4). Saturate a clean cloth in the mixture and wring out the excess liquid.

    • 5). Blot the mildew with the saturated cloth. Continue submerging the cloth in the ammonia-water mixture and blotting the furniture until all mildew is gone.

    • 6). Allow the ammonia mixture to sit on the furniture for a few minutes.

    • 7). Fill a clean bucket with cool water. Submerge a clean cloth in the water. Rinse the lawn furniture with the cloth. Allow the furniture to air dry in a sunny location.
