The new Federal Healthcare bill, better known as ObamaCare, promises to do much more damage than good.
It promises Americans with threats of fines and intervention by regulating the insurance companies, physicians, healthcare professionals, and even our very own families.
This bill is waiting to reach down and invade our own homes.
No one is exempt at this point.
Have you been on the fence about ObamaCare? Art Thompson, CEO of The John Birch Society, wants to let all patients and Medical Professionals know that the Patient and Protection Act coupled with the reconciliation bill is basically just a cocked pistol waiting to go off.
Every American, Democrat or Conservative, should be aware of the cold hard facts.
Doctors and medical professionals will be saddled with dozens of new regulations that must be adhered to.
The bill also puts emphasis on shrinking the reimbursements that doctors receive from those patients on Medicare and Medicaid.
Reimbursement cuts have been happening even before the bill.
There is no thought to try and control them, as ObamaCare keeps them going and even getting worse.
In regards to family and home, billions are being used to fund programs that basically meddle in our lives.
Some to control your weight and your children's.
Others designed to control eating habits, lifestyle habits, exercise habits, and others.
The purpose according to the government is so they are able to control healthcare costs.
The government may even go as far as coming into your home to see if these rules are being adhered to.
What's next? Getting arrested if you eat an extra chocolate chip cookie? Speaking of being arrested or getting in trouble with the Federal government, there is sadly more news.
By 2016 those who do not "choose" to purchase the government's approved healthcare will be accessed an additional $750 on that years income tax.
Because of the reduction of reimbursements that the doctors will receive from Medicare/Medicaid patients, costs for other patients will then skyrocket.
If government was to reduce reimbursements for all patients, then you should expect a major exit of qualified physicians and an extended wait for the others.
Also Medicare and Medicaid patients will struggle to find a qualified physician.
Which seems realistic due to the fact that the physician's reimbursements will be drastically cut.
Great huh? No entity will be left out of this travesty.
Insurers will have to ask for government approval before raising premiums.
They will actually have to remit a request to the Secretary of the relevant state requesting permission.
The federal government will also be allowed to make "suggestions and garner "assistance" to the insurance market.
They will be allowed to voice pleasure or displeasure of how a certain insurance market is being handled and make appropriate changes.
In addition, the federal government will be deciding the maximum salary of executives, beginning in 2012.
Well, there you have it.
Conservative or Liberal, Democrat or Republican, do you honestly believe this is good? Do you truly want big brother involved in every aspect of your life, including your health? Let your voice be heard.
