I have always dreamed of taking my children to Disneyland, so when they finally grew to an age where I believe they would understand and remember the experience; I was thrilled to take them.
Disneyland is located in Anaheim, California where the weather is usually always perfect.
Mostly the least you carry the better, so jeans, a t-shirt, sweater and comfortable shoes will allow you to be the most relaxed.
Since food is not allowed into the park, there is no need to bring food with you.
Conveniently the tour company I traveled with picked us up from our hotel and drove us in their comfortable van to the park.
In purchasing our tickets with the tour company we avoided the grievances of parking.
Because we went on the weekdays, the park was not nearly as crowded and as a result the lines were much shorter.
This allowed us to save money by not purchasing the additional fast pass tickets for lines.
Due to the lines being much shorter, our children were able to have a better experience as well, allowing us to stay in the park for much longer then we expected.
Although my children are very young, they were able to go on all the rides without being scared.
As a family, our favorite part of the night had to have been the fireworks and light show at night.
When we were done at the park, the van waiting outside the park was very convenient as the kids were ready to go straight to sleep.
As I expected, our first trip to Disneyland was one we will never forget.
