Any time a species runs out of water, shelter, food or lives in a place where the weather is not permissible to sustain adequate life then the species will need to either adapt, evolve or move locations; if not it will die.
There are many reasons why people believe that humans walk upright all the time like other primates.
One theory is that the environment changed and caused them to have to move between trees which were long distances apart and they had to move fast so they would not get eaten.
If this is true it would make sense and it seems to point to proof positive of evolution.
If global warming is real then it is predicted that there will be long-term droughts and a rising of the ocean; then humans will have to move to places where there is fresh water supplies and away from the oceans a few miles.
Humans will have to adapt to this challenge and move because those areas in which they live presently may not be able to sustain life.
If global warming lasted for tens of thousands of years eventually humans might evolve slightly and those which had certain traits would survive better than those that did not.
In the case of the Global Warming scare, if it is true then mankind will need to adapt to the challenge or die in its midsts.
