- 1). Cut a 24-inch length of 5/8-inch wide ribbon.
- 2). Close the opening of a round plastic shower curtain hook-ring. Apply a dab of hot glue to one side of the closure. Place one end of the ribbon in the glue. Allow the glue to cool.
- 3). Wrap the ribbon around the ring, overlapping the ribbon with each wrap. Wrap until you have covered the entire ring. Trim off the excess ribbon.
- 4). Apply a dab of hot glue to the top of the beginning ribbon end. Place the end of the ribbon in the glue.
- 5). Hold the covered hook-ring, standing it straight up on your work surface. Apply a dab of hot glue to the top. Place a silk flower, bead, button or charm in the glue to decorate.
- 1). Cut a 4-inch wide by 24-inch long strip of fabric.
- 2). Fold the strip in half with the right sides together and the long edges matching. Pin the long edges together. Sew the pinned edge using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. You now have a tube with two open ends.
- 3). Attach a safety pin to one open end of the tube. Push the pin into the tube and work it through to the other end to turn the tube right side out. Remove the pin.
- 4). Iron the tube flat with the seam on one long edge. Open the hook-ring and thread the tube on. Close the ring.
- 5). Cut a 12-inch length of 1/4-inch wide ribbon. Tie the ribbon into a bow. Lay the fabric covered ring flat on your work surface. The ends of the fabric tube are the bottom of the ring. Apply a dot of craft glue on the top of the ring. Place the bow in the glue and allow the glue to dry.
