- 1). Launch a web editing application like Adobe Dreamweaver or a word processor like Microsoft Word.
- 2). Open the HTML file in which you want to embed a video or audio file.
- 3). Place your text cursor in the section of the code where you want to place the video or audio element. Make sure you select a location in between the main "<body>" and "</body>" tags.
- 4). Type the following into your HTML code, replacing "mysite.com/song.mp3" with the exact URL of the video or audio clip you want to embed: <EMBED SRC="mysite.com/song.mp3">.
- 5). Add a space after the clip's URL and enter "LOOP=TRUE" if you want the clip to replay continuously. Switch the code to "LOOP=FALSE" if you do not want the clip to loop at all. You can also enter a number after "LOOP=" to set a specific number of times for the clip to loop.
- 6). Save the HTML code and upload it to your Web server.
