Can IBS Affect Pregnancy?

What link is there between IBS a pregnancy? Which one affects other? Can IBS affect pregnancy?Of course they are considered to impact each other at the same time.
But many experts think that pregnancy has more effect on IBS, as well as on the whole body.
Even studies have shown that pregnancy can have a significant impact on irritable bowel syndrome due to serious hormonal fluctuations.
But in practice, it is not always easy to predict whether IBS will aggravate or improve during pregnancy.
Some pregnant women may feel that their IBS symptoms have temporarily weakened, while other women can feel that their IBS is becoming much worse than it has been before.
Or sometimes, it may happen so that some irritable bowel syndrome symptoms change into others - for example, if before pregnancy someone had normally diarrhea, in the middle of pregnancy she can experience constipation.
Unfortunately, neither we, nor specialist can predict exactly what will happen.
If you are pregnant, and at the same time suffer from IBS, it can be helpful for you to discuss this issue with other women who have already experienced IBS symptoms during pregnancy.
Also do not forget to talk about it to your doctors.
IBS Treatment during pregnancy According to medical studies and recommendations of most specialists it is recommended to apply natural treatment for irritable bowel syndrome in pregnant women.
Such kind of treatment includes especially diet changes, physical activity, hypnosis and auto training.
These solutions are considered quite safe and effective against IBS during the pregnancy period.
Though irritable bowel syndrome can have some effect on your pregnancy, it does not mean that you are not able to have healthy pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby.
However, it is my own opinion.
Treatment for IBS in women while they are pregnant is a very critical moment, as the doctor should be more careful than ever, when prescribing medicaments.
In general, many herbal remedies and dietary supplements have not been studied properly.
So results can vary.
If you are pregnant also, be careful with supplements, before consuming any of them, read the ingredients carefully.
Otherwise some of them can cause digestive problems.
All pregnant women take some essential vitamins.
Such prenatal vitamins usually contain a lot of iron that can cause worse constipation.
So if you have IBS symptoms, talk to your doctor and get those vitamins which do not contain any amount of iron.
For conclusion, I can only tell that you should be serious about your iBS symptoms during your pregnancy.
