Face Moisturiser - Keep Beautifully Young

Investing in a good face moisturiser to keep your skin looking young can be a great idea, but are you using too much? Applying too much each day can lead to clogged pores, dermatitis (itchy and inflamed skin), or even acne.
For best results, use a pea sized amount of cream, once or twice a day, certainly no more than this.
Usage will of course depend on the thickness of the product, use a thick moisturiser no more than once a day.
Use good skin preparation before applying the face moisturiser, thorough exfoliation can get rid of any excessive cellular build up.
People with sensitive skin are sometimes afraid to use moisturiser because they feel it will make them break out in a rash or spots, this is not necessarily true as it's not the moisturiser itself but certain ingredients contained in some moisturisers, that can have this effect on your skin.
For example, coconut and palm oils may affect you if you have sensitive skin.
The problem is, some manufacturers list these ingredients, or derivatives of them under different names, thus making it harder to avoid them.
How To Apply Face Moisturiser Correctly Firstly, you need to gently wash your face, apply toner if this is part of your routine, gently pat down any excess water on your face with a towel, leaving your skin damp and fresh.
Wash your hands before opening the moisturiser.
Put small dabs of the moisturiser on your forehead, your nose and your chin.
Gently massage the cream into your skin using a circular movement until it has been fully absorbed.
Then apply a small amount of moisturiser to the neck and massage in an upward motion until it's fully absorbed.
Allow this to dry for two minutes before applying any foundation or makeup.
Remember to avoid contact with the eyes as this can result in irritation.
Where Can You Find A Good Face Moisturiser? If you haven't yet found a product that suits your skin, I would suggest you go to a local pharmacy that stocks a large range of beauty products.
You really need to speak to an expert to get the advice you require, regarding your skin type etc.
Nationally run pharmacy super stores tend to carry most of the best products, and have staff on hand to give you free advice on which products are right for you.
Once you have found a good face moisturiser, you could possibly find the same brand available online for a cheaper price.
