- 1). Vacuum any loose dirt off the blinds using the soft bristle attachment for your vacuum cleaner.
- 2). Dust the blinds with a soft cloth making sure to get in-between all the spaces.
- 3). Wipe with a lemon oil or other wood preservative, making sure to rub it into the wood. Check the manufacturer's instructions to see if a preservative needs to be used.
- 1). Dust the blinds with a soft cloth to remove most of the dirt.
- 2). Add a tsp. of dish soap to 1 gallon of warm water. Dip a rag in and wring it out.
- 3). Wash the blinds with the solution, being sure to get in between all the tight spots.
- 4). Dry the blinds with a soft, absorbent towel. Use a gentle blotting action. The blinds should dry quickly.
