How to Kill Kentucky Bluegrass

    • 1). Mix concentrated herbicide according to the directions on the packaging in a pump sprayer designed for Roundup or Ortho GroundClear.

    • 2). Spray the herbicide in the areas where Kentucky Bluegrass is not desired. Do not allow spray or over-spray to get on any other plant life.

    • 3). Allow the herbicide to dry for at least 24 hours before exposing the treated vegetation to rain or sprinkler water to ensure proper absorption.

    • 4). Rake the dead grass and other vegetation out of the area after seven to 10 days. The dead vegetation will be brown and wilted.
