- Located in historic Old Town, the Suwannee River Hideaway Campground offers guests camping accommodations surrounded by all of Florida's nature and wildlife. During your stay, take stroll along the 1,500 foot boardwalk that will take you through the wetlands surrounding the Suwannee River. Go biking and hiking on the Nature Coast State Trail, which crosses the river on the old railway trestle and goes for more than 30 miles. Tent camping and RV sites with electric hookups are available.

Your stay there will be complete with a variety of events and recreational activities. There are more than 500 acres where guests can camp, hike, canoe, jog or go mini golfing. The campground is home to the world's largest bat house and a honeybee observation exhibit. Campsites offer full hookups, including electric and water. Events held at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground include the Wanee Festival in April, Suwannee Spirit Kid's Music Camp in February, Valentine's Day Sock Hop and the Suwannee River Jam. The campground also offers a craft village where you can purchase a selection of homemade and locally crafted items.
- Enjoy Florida's hospitality and stay at the Suwannee River State Park at the confluence of the Withlacoochee River and the Suwannee River. The area is filled with the state's history, including earthworks built along the river to protect the Confederate army from the Union navy during the Civil War. The park offers five trails, totaling 18 miles, for hiking, jogging and biking through the woodlands and along the river. The park offers guests a full-facility campground and cabins where you can stay in between fishing, boating and enjoying the nature surrounding the Suwannee River.
