If you are new to Affiliate Marketing it's not uncommon to find yourself overwhelmed with trying to figure out how make consistent sales.
Anyone in this business has had these same feelings of frustration.
The important thing is that you don't give up.
Affiliate Marketing is no different than any other trade from the aspect of learning the business.
However it is very different when comes to obtaining the education and earning potential.
The education can be had by utiiizing FREE resources on the internet, and the earning potential is, well lets just say you can write your own paycheck.
With that said, if you need help with Affiliate Marketing here are some powerful tips that will get you going down the road to success.
One note first though, this does assume you have at least minimal knowledge of free and paid marketing techniques.

Tip #1 - Walk a Mile In My Shoes Spend the time researching your market, it will pay off big time.
The better you know your customer, the better you will be able to relate to them.
Putting yourself in their shoes allows you to connect to your reader.
So research your market, look in the forums, and ask questions.
Tip #2 - Time Give yourself time to learn the methods and techniques.
For most people in this business it takes time, trial and error, and persistence to be successful.
Although there is nothing that hard about Affiliate Marketing, you do have to learn, practice, and use the methods and techniques you choose for your marketing business.
This is not a "Get Rich Quick" business, and I will tell you there is no legitimate business that is.
It is possible to make a lot of money in short period of time, but it does take work.
Tip #3 - Action If you need help with Affiliate Marketing, and you take away only one thing from this article, let it be #3.
It takes ACTION to be successful.
You must do the research, write the articles, write the ads, etc.
Without action, nothing is going to happen.
If you take a little action, expect little results.
If you take a lot of action, expect more results.
It's that simple.
If you are Article Marketing, write a lot of articles.
Writing just 3 or 4 articles ain't gonna cut it.
You need to write 50, 75, or 100's articles and ads.
Try different techniques, different approaches, split test, and then carry forward with those that get you results.
What I do is write at least a couple articles every day.
It doesn't take long, and if you doing #1 you will have plenty of information to write on.
Tip #4 - Ad/Ariticle Titles When you are writing your ads and articles use powerful words that catch the readers attention.
Which one of these titles catches your attention: "New Method Generates Mind Blowing Results" or "Try Our New Method For Generating Results".
See what I mean? Make your ad and articles titles stand out from the rest.
Tip #5 - Use Landing Pages Landing pages are your opportunity to pre-sell your reader.
Without them you pretty much rely on the merchant page to do the selling.
The best way to implement landing pages is by using your own website.
Landing pages give you the ability to control your content, split test your ideas, and highlight the top selling points of your product.
Where Do You Go From Here The tips above are just a few of loads of advise a person could give on Affiliate Marketing.
However, I feel these 5 tips are the most important fundamental building blocks you need in this business.
If you can practice these and continually learn and improve you will be successful.
Believe in yourself, and never give up.
Don't make excuses.
Create an action plan and stick to it! I'm sure you've heard "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail".
So I guess that's Tip #6 - Create An Action Plan.
